Testimonials

"I really believe the group you've created is something special. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to participate. I use the philosophies on a daily basis and in fact I had a minor panic attack today and I played your voice in my head a million times over, "it's ok to feel this way, acknowledge and move on." I hope the group continues and so many others have the opportunity to practice self care in this way!"

"Yoga therapy with you has been one of the best practices in self care that I’ve ever committed to. The group is gentle and focused. I use the yoga philosophies in my daily life and have started integrating yoga into my home self care routine.  I so wish I could continue with this group..."

"My experience in Beth's yoga therapy group (Yoga for Anxiety, Depression, Recovery) was exceedingly positive. Beth is a gifted teacher who encourages self compassion-on and off the yoga mat. Nothing else has been so effective for my anxiety and depression as cultivating a yoga practice. I highly recommend Beth's classes because she is specially trained in yoga therapy and her group class model is unique in that it incorporates check-in times and opportunities to share."

"...the check in times made me feel less isolated and more connected. I realized that I was not alone in my struggles."

A former Trauma Sensitive Yoga Group Member shared that before attending the group "I did not have a regular yoga practice; however, since the group I have been doing yoga 4-5x per week...I found it to be a good small size and Beth worked really hard to make sure we felt safe and to do whatever she could to address our needs. Yoga has been more beneficial to me than individual therapy, DBT, or anything else I have tried. I haven't experienced dissociation in over a month. Yoga has saved my life."

"I've struggled with Generalized Anxiety Disorder my whole life, but it was at an all-time high when I developed adult asthma and allergies a few years ago. My therapist recommended that I try breathing exercises on a regular basis, but it wasn't enough to do them on my own so I started taking beginner yoga with Beth. I learned the basics, and have been taking yoga weekly at Atlanta Wellness ever since. My asthma symptoms and anxiety have subsided to almost non-existent. I've also noticed a positive change with my focus and concentration, as well as endurance"

"Honestly, when I started going to Yoga I really didn’t know what to expect, and my goal was to increase my muscle flexibility and tone my body. Well, I got so much more than that. After about 4 sessions, I finally figured out how to completely relax my body and every muscle in it, including my mind. Yoga not only helped my goals, but it relieved a lot of the daily stresses that go on in a working mom/wife life. Sounds odd I know, but it really is a therapeutic exercise. I am sure there are a lot of good Yoga instructors out there, however, I am going to be partial to Beth Zeigler. With me being new to Yoga, she really taught me how to do all of the positions as well as the breathing technique. She showed patience all at the same time. Does not mean she didn’t really work me, but face it, that is what I went for. She has a calming presence about her that really focuses on the therapeutic side and I think that is one of the many characteristics she has about her that makes her stand out from others.

"I have been doing Yoga with Beth for about 3 years now and feel so much better about myself in general!!! Thank you Beth!"

"My yoga journey has taken me from community classes, private studios, Gold's Gym and Atlanta Wellness. What made me take that first step on this journey was my diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis. Every MS related journal, article, MS Society meeting and physician all mention the benefits of yoga. With increasing muscle fatigue and difficulty dealing with the stress and anxiety that made my symptoms worse, I decided to give yoga a try. That was 7 years ago and I have improved tremendously thanks to Beth's classes I am currently participating in. Beth has a sincere interest in the entire mind- body benefits of yoga practice. She also has a teaching style that has a focus on injury prevention and overall well being. Beth is personally interested in each persons level of experience and integrates each persons strengths and weaknesses during her classes. The benefits of yoga are countless. It's exercise, flexibility, meditation, healing and relaxation all combined in each class. Beth brings all of these benefits to each of her classes."

"Yoga with Beth is not only helping me to build strength and get the exercise that I need, but it is also the relaxing time that I need as a mom of two boys. I have been taking yoga with her for almost 2 years and it has changed my life."

"Beth's skillful style of teaching yoga has led to flexibility I never thought possible, an increased firmness and all-over toning that has changed the way my clothes fit and even relief from sinus pressure. If you are looking for just the right person to help you along your path, Beth is the one!"

"I have been a member of Atlanta Wellness for a little over a year and I can honestly say that out of all the gym classes I have taken have only stuck it out this long because of the Yoga class that I take at Atlanta Wellness with Beth. Beth makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and walks around the class to make sure your technique is correct. She takes the time to get to know you and what your body is capable of doing in yoga. If I go a few days without the class my body feels tired and weak. Yoga has definitely made me stronger, more flexible, and my posture has improved. I even correct my breathing throughout the day to help myself relax. All of this Thanks to Yoga with Beth at Atlanta Wellness."

"Coach Beth Zeigler has created a very encouraging atmosphere for people at all levels of Yoga and fitness. I had never experienced the benefits of stretching, which nurtured concentration and freedom from distractions. At my first classes, Beth quietly provided individual instruction to this inflexible, matronly retiree, while still helping advanced participants."

"Beth, I thought that your Yoga class last Wednesday was wonderful. You have a very calming and encouraging voice and manner, and the entire introduction was really a pleasure. On Thursday morning, I had none of the aches and stiffness that I usually have after evening tennis! I am sure that must be from the great stretching the Yoga provided."

"I have Spondylitis (Arthritis on the spine) at age 36 it took 2 years for the doctors to find the cause of the pain, inflexibility, fatigue, weight gain and eye infections which I thought has nothing to do with my back pain. As it turns out they were all signs of Spondylitis. I had to take medications 2 times a day which was not really helping. The next step was going to be injections that I could not pay for along with yoga classes. Two months later I do yoga and body sculpting with Beth. I love the classes they are not fast paced but are hard work and very helpful I have more flexibility, I have lost 6 pounds so far even with the holidays. I can tie my own shoes and my kids if need be. But most of all I am HAPPY again and have little or no pain."
